K2 Park project, Indonesia

Introduction

Once again, the Ougan Group was called upon to use the Super Cell to verify load capacities at a large project. The K2 Park will be a mixed-use area of six towers, each tower with 32 floors. Located in Gading Serpong area of Indonesia. The K2 Park will offer 2,500 residential units, a hotel, an office tower that is partially sold and partially leased and an education tower that will be used by some of the most renowned educational institutions in Indonesia including universities and music schools. The superblock will also provide restaurants, shopping, medical, dental and other supporting facilities for the residents.

 

Prioritas Land provided the design concept for developing the K2 Park. This design is very unique as it is inspired by the Zhangjiajie Mountains in China, the background for the famous movie Avatar. Each tower of the K2 Park has its own unique facade separating the towers visually but giving them a special harmony. The K2 Park is built to meet the needs for residential areas with unique and interesting alternatives to traditional apartment buildings. The K2 Park is an alternative for living, investing in the popular Serpong area of Indonesia.

 

The piles tested have diameters of one meter with a load test value of 8,400 kN.
